Bank Street Cafe in Griffin

My new favorite restaurant. Small menu that covers a wide variety of meals. Lunch has a smaller menu. There's a bar upstairs and tables on the sidewalk. Try the pastas, burgers or the one of the specials.

Delicious food. Eggs Benedict -Spinich artichoke is so good.

Good, substantial Reuben with nice sauerkraut. My mother-in-law ordered the small, and when they brought it out, we asked if they'd accidentally brought the large! She enjoyed it, but couldn't finish it (she's petite). My husband's club was sandwiched well between hearty sourdough slices. Plan to repeat--the bar space upstairs looks interesting!

A great place to eat! A little pricey, and a little hipster, but great food and great staff. The cooks rock too! Live music's on occasion, great location, I really dig this place. The up stairs bar is super cool too.

Service was awesome but I ordered shrimp and grits creole style and was told after paying for it that they were out of sausage ☹️ I was offered a side but the sides aren’t really that appeasing to me. hopefully the food is good!update: food was decent the spinach dip was very thick to be dip but it was good the sausage was the highlight of the shrimp and grits I’m happy I was able to wait for it

Good food for a quality price! Spinach & artichoke dip was amazing. Sweet potato fries were great. Pimento cheese toast was the BEST.

Always great service and delicious food. We go to Bank Street often for date night and have never been disappointed.

I LOVE this place. It has a cool atmosphere, sweet staff, and awesome food. They have great vegetarian options and a good beer selection. They’re just a tad pricey. But it’s worth it!

This place was a last minute idea for Brunch on a Sunday and we completely fell in love. The staff was so kind. The food was incredible. I found myself trying a little something on everyones plate and there was no one thing that wasn't amazing. Even my very picky husband told the waitress we will definitely be back.

The best restaurant and craft beer selection in Griffin

Great food, good service, good drink selection, good atmosphere. Sometimes the drink selection is badly deindled of you go on Monday. Unlike many places, their "off-hour" wait staff are quality, dedicated professionals. The venue is rathet small for live music, and they feature is varied, so make sure it is one you like.lots of quality vegetarian choices, and itis a great place for a mixed group of vegetarians and omnivores to both eat well.

My grown woman child daughter treated me to this wonderful little place! Great food... great people... superior Bloody Marys on a Saturday morning.Don't miss this one.

The drinks are perf. The food... Meh. But this is one of the best bars in Griffin. So I highly recommend it if your south of Atlanta

The place to get great burgers and beer. The pimento cheese and BLT sandwiches are amazing.Very good craft beer selection.

Not a first visit experience here. Normally the menu items are good, services excellent. I hope today's experience isn't permanent. Bun and fries overcooked. Bun charred black and rock hard along with fries. The food is why you go, anything past that is secondary. No excuse for burnt food ever being served period.

Food was excellent. Husband had the fish and chips, son had the pimento cheese and chicken panini, and I had the smoked gouda burger. We all took a bite from each other's plates and everything was tasty. I enjoyed the historic look that was original to the bank building. We were seated upstairs and and had a good view of the bar and downstairs area. We will definitely be going back!

Food is good there but service is slow. Took a while to get our food and server was slow checking on us.

Their food is consistently good and they change their menu from time to time to keep things fresh. The staff here will go to the ends of the Earth to make sure you are taken care of. Great live music venue primarily on weekends, some outdoor dining available and brunch menu Saturday and Sunday.

Best place in Griffin for drinks and great atmosphere

I spend a good bit of time in this place. Great beer selection is what makes this place attractive. The food is complimentary to the style and presence of the cafe. I have had just about everything on the menu...Great Burgers, A spectacular jerk wrap, and vegetarian options. Couple that with some of the coolest servers in town and a 5 star review is the result.

The atmosphere is cool. It was an old bank at one time . Part of the old safe is still there. They have live music at time's, not sure if it's every weekend. The food was good and service fast and friendly.

This is such a wonderful place to eat. Everyone is always nice. The food is top notch! A lot of different beers!

Great food! Great service! Worth checking out! Try the Rueben. This is an additional review ...... they change up the menu so don’t come back thinking you can get the same thing. My son and I came back to find that the food we loved was no longer available. It was especially disappointing since it was my sons 18 th birthday and he came here expecting to get his favorite burger

Kenzie is the best waitress. The food is always amazing.

I've been here twice, and the food is fantastic. Service is a little slow, but well worth the wait. In all fairness, they're usually quite busy. Seems they are going for an upscale, gourmet kind of feel, and I believe they achieve that. Quickly becoming my favorite in Griffin.

This is my second time coming here, the first I was able to enjoy their grits but they were out today which was unfortunate. That being said, I was introduced to their peppadews or pepadews? I'm unsure how to spell it, but they are cheese stuffed red peppers that are battered and fried. The sauce they come with is perfection. As you can see I could not even wait to snap a photo. I cannot wait to come back and devour more of them. Be sure to ask for Lindsay, she was quite wonderful!

I gave it one star because you can't rate it a zero. Cold, very old coffee, very long wait for 2 burger plates, our server wasn't friendly or attentive. She never smiled even once! Food was not so great. Skip this place. There are better places to eat.

This unique restaurant in Griffin is always a pleasure to visit. It is inside an old bank building with interesting architectural details and beautiful paintings by a local artist. The food never disappoints, the service is always friendly and attentive, and the beer selection is large.

Not enough wait staff. We went at Sunday around 12:30 pm and seated upstairs, every seat taken. Only one waitress for the second floor. Took long time to get drinks. Long time to place order. Took very long time to get meal. My grilled turkey sandwich was soggy on the bottom and fries were barely warm, so my platter was forgotten. We left nearly 2 pm. Beautiful restaurant, great meal and dessert, best waitress, too slow service, and too loud. We won't be going back.
